My Vicarious Vacation

So this week we are really missing daddy as he is off "working" in Paris. I get to travel vicariously through Kurt as he jaunts around the world on his business trips. Some of the places he has visited for work are: Brazil, Finland, India, Korea, Indonesia, and currently France and Scotland.

Talking to him today, he had just taken a river cruise down the Seine and saw such sites as Notre Dame and the Louvre. Rough, huh? But no, I'm not complaining. I do get to travel for my job. Last year I did visit Bovill, Idaho, not once, but TWICE. The general store is a must-see!

So as Kurt gets to be in Paris this Friday, July 14 for their national holiday (Bastille Day), the girls and I will be with him in spirit as we watch their fireworks on the Eiffel Tower webcam.

I know one day I'll get to go too...

Tom,
Don't worry about the girls. I've become intimately familiar with Des Moines, Iowa. We can plan a guys trip there..I hear the deep fried pickles on a stick at the Iowa State Fair rock!
